Everyone can come up with a few. I need as many options as possible.

]]>Think of it as something similar to the Anomalous Items Log and the Extranormal Events Log - each individual entry might contain a brief description of an anomalous occurrence. Naturally, the Foundation became involved, but MTF agents determined that indeed, as human beings tend to do, they made a mistake, and therefore each entry would contain a segment detailing *what* this "anomaly" actually *was*, be it a misunderstanding or a deliberate hoax.

Critique on the idea would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

]]>As most of us know, Windows XP Support will be dropped on the 8th of April, this year.

That's… about a week from the time of this posting. So, yeah. If you haven't already done so, you should really start thinking about upgrading to Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, or, hell any other OS that isn't XP. Or buy a new computer if your current one is as old as XP.

XP will still run after the 8th, but Microsoft won't patch any new security holes in the system. That will make it more vulnerable to hackers and the like.

Just a friendly reminder!

]]>…I'd like to know what people think before posting it and asking the author of the other SCP for permission.

Basically, it would include these two sections at the end:

**Recent Developments**: In March of 2014, a secondary message was deciphered from what was thought to be noise in the primary message. Using the established mathematical vocabulary, the secondary message appears to suggest that the transmission of the aforementioned prime factors would signal the lunar phenomenon to halt. It has been conjectured that SCP-1941 was conscientiously designed to be shutdown by a neighboring civilization of sufficient sophistication that might find its activities objectionable.

Given this development, interest has been renewed in attempting to factor the mathematical expression in the primary message. Investigations into leveraging the processing power of SCP-155 were made, SCP-155 being a computer capable of asymptotic computations in finite amounts of time.

Projections have been formulated on the amount of energy that would be released by SCP-155 during this attempt, and whether or not provisions should be made to relocate it off the Earth should it prove necessary to safeguard against a PK-class event, or the sterilization of all life on the planet.

The lower-bound placed on the amount of energy released is 4.2 x 10^{18}, roughly equivalent to a gigaton nuclear explosion and deemed acceptable. The upper-bound, however, has been placed at 3.1 x 10^{41} Joules, or roughly the amount of energy released by the average supernova. Research is currently underway to refine these bounds.

**Mathematical Supplement:** The secondary message is as follows:

\begin{align} \forall n \exists f(): f(n) = {p_1}^{a_1}{p_2}^{a_2} \dotsb {p_k}^{a_k} = \prod_{i=1}^{k} {p_i}^{a_i} , \forall p \neg \exists p=ab, a>1, b>1 \end{align}

(2) \begin{align} \Omega = 2^{2^{79}} + 3^{2^{83}} + 5^{2^{89}} + 7^{2^{97}} \end{align}

(3) \begin{align} f(n) \Rightarrow \left\{ \begin{array}{rl} e &\mbox{ , n=∅} \\ 0 &\mbox{ , n=Ω} \end{array} \right. \end{align}

Which has been interpreted to mean the following:

]]>

(1): Definition of the functionf()which yields the prime factors of an integer.

(2): Definition of omegaΩwhich is the intractably large number.

(3): The condition, where the prime factors of the empty setf(∅)yields the base of the natural logarithme, interpreted to mean continued exponential growth, while the prime factors of the intractable numberf(Ω)yields0,interpreted to mean the cessation of growth.
