I click on the SCP-902 link in the library and come to the warning screen. Being naive as a puppy and completely insane besides, those things (a la SCP-001) always make me hesitate - I always have to remind myself that it's just a website. That said, I know this site plenty well enough to know that when such a warning is placed, something has been done to make it seem legit when you move on, so these things kind of excite me, too. Anyway, I came to the actual article, and…well, for some reason, I usually take a second to check how long an article is before I read it (I hadn't even really realized that I do this before I read this article), so I scrolled down to the bottom for a moment, and since my username being in a place where I didn't put it catches my eye faster than I can process actual words, the first word I read in this article ended up being my name. I didn't really know what it was even about at that point, and I'm sure it would have worked a lot better if I hadn't seen it until the end, but my heart still skipped a beat.

Does it require Keter classification, though? Given that we've no evidence of it causing problems beyond limited scale insanity, it seems like it ought to be Euclid.
Unless that is meant to demonstrate the effects.
As a side note, the question of "How were the effects recognized and the item appropriately catalogued as Euclid" could be answered if the effects did not extend to telling someone else about a hypothetical item similar to SCP-902.

Then how was this article written, especially the parts that it's acknowledged that it's the box only making people think it's dangerous? How was that part even written, since people should believe its a Box of Doom and not a box what makes you think that it's a Box of Doom?

Cognitive dissonance. It's a common as hell thing. You may logically know or believe one thing, but you also believe another, contradictory thing. The people suffering from this could certainly know on a logical level that the box is 'magically' making them believe this thing, but that doesn't mean the belief goes away.

Also, are we ready to destroy it once it's done counting down?
