Okay, here we go! Sorry for the wait. My thoughts:
- SCP-4776 is stored on a 5 by 10cm piece of paper > the word itself isn't stored, it's a piece of paper with the word written on it, right?
- inherently dangerous and risky nature of SCP-4776's effects > I think you can remove "and risky" here
- violently detonating with the force of ABRITRARY LOW NUMBER > placeholder detected. Also, maybe put "approximately" since idk if the Foundation would know exact measurements for low numbers of explosive force
- The occult branch of the Department of Defense. > the US Dept?
- Collection of E-mails involving thing: > moar placeholder?
- Due to the suspicious circumstances surrounding Incidents 4776.2 and 4776.3, the Foundation Diplomatic Committee has deemed it necessary to take retaliatory[…] > I'll be honest, the bold on top of the Foundation logo kind of hurts my eyes. Is there a way to soften up the effect?
Overall… solidly written, but kind of confusing for me since I didn't really understand the Reagan reference? Also, the ending half of the piece didn't really seem like SCP article content; felt more like I was reading a tale. I felt like the article would have been alright without so much supplementary material, since the core anomaly was weird and quirky enough on its own without the mention of the Pentagram GoI.
What am I missing here history-wise? Is there an easter egg of some sort? If so, maybe poke some of our history buffs (
Roget and
Modern_Erasmus come to mind) and see what their thoughts are on how to make this more approachable to a general audience.
