SCP Foundation

An entity that manifests behind soldiers and protects them during a mission. Dont know If something like this has already been done, and I still need some way for the foundation to figure out the entity exists and is anomalous.

SCP-4017 has done something like this, but the soldiers weren't the focus, so it's not an issue. This idea is fairly barebones, though. Perhaps these questions/ideas could help you with your brainstorming:

• Does this entity protect every soldier, or just those from a particular country, race, religion, etc? An entity concerned about soldiers in general wouldn't just protect individual ones (that'd mean having to oppose other soldiers if in a war), but go for more broad actions. An entity concerned only about a particular groups of soldiers would need to have a reason to do so.
• When did it start protecting soldiers?
• Does it seem human? Is it limited to what a human can do?
• Does it protect the MTFs? Does it protect the Foundation in general? Does it hate the Foundation?
