Good to see this on the mainsite! +1 from me; real nice atmospheric read and straightforward too.

This is great, simple but effective.

Some slight nitpicks though.
I believe "more brighter" should just be "brighter".
Command's lines are a bit strange. What's with the random cough? And the "<indecipherable>" part? I get the feeling they were meant to be talking to the support team, but, if so, that's not how it comes accross.
Also the sigh, while understandable, seems a bit unprofessional.

These are just nitpicks, nothing major. This is still really solid. +1

The Earth is very hungry.

This is very… cliche. I know that's the name of the contest, but presumably the point is the challenge of keeping the cliches fresh and interesting - this is indistinguishable from any of the other 50 'person goes into flesh-structure/giant creature, dies horribly' articles on the site. It was like reading a Sarkic article stripped of all the Sarkicism. -1
