The first thought in my head the moment I saw the article was "if this is using a common internet funny picture, and has a +45, it must be incredibly good." (I'd seen that picture quite a number of times before.)
And after reading it, that definitely seems to be the case. A reason has been added for its existence through some backstory - and its impossibility of usual containment and status as a local tourist attraction gives it plausible reason to be a commonly-found picture.
That aside, I am able to understand what's going on in the article, and it has cohesiveness; everything ties together well. If you're planning to eventually do the test, I'm looking forward to the results.
