Sorry but I'm not really digging it as of now. It just sounds like your average vampire but it's a genius. Also one of the sentences feels off.

Did you mean it lacks strength when it is exposed to sunlight and blinds it at the same time or did you mean it just blinds the creature when it is exposed to sunlight?

It's a bat with flaws, Make it a super bat, like 682, strong, but not that strong, and try making it an obscure bat species

Don't make it a Hollywood movie monster:

Its… only… weakness… is… SUNLIGHT!

If you want to write a sapient bat, get rid of the learning at an "astounding" rate thing; hyperintelligent bat monsters belong on SyFy channel, not scp-wiki.net. Instead, make a character we can give a damn about; the Moon Wizard is succeeding for two reasons: it's funny and therefore entertaining, and it implies a helluva lot, which is also entertaining. When you write an SCP, you're creating a piece of entertainment for a bunch of bored, jaded, experienced indie internet writers; make us want to upvote it without giving us a reason to downvote.
