I've got this kinda' loose idea for an entry. It's a street drug being distributed to a very small clientele around the world, anywhere from SoHo to Addis Ababa.
The drug has unusual side-effects that turn the users into real-life Mary Sues. They gain powers, they slowly loose traces of their original personalities and become caricatures, and they grow a small gland that secretes intense pheromones, forcing people to like them.
The section that'll probably get the most attention is the interview log, where different kinds of people recount their different experiences. How about a wannabe artist getting revenge on his critics? Or a shy geek trying to be a superhero?
I hope that this isn't too close to writing actually bad X-Men SCiPs. But what do you think?
What do hard drugs and bad writing have in common?
Summary:
Not what you may think.
