Remember kids, It's dangerous to go out at night!
If that's it, I don't see it doing well
As the summary says, help me!
Remember kids, It's dangerous to go out at night!
Joke SCPs are often perceived as being easier to write than normal SCPs or as a sort of "dump box" for ideas that don't quite make the main lists. This could not be further from the truth, as any Joke SCP not only has to nail all of the requirements of a main list SCP, but has to be broadly funny as well. In general, Joke SCPs are much harder than regular SCPs to write because no matter how well written it is, if any given reader doesn't laugh at your joke, then they will not vote favorably on it.

Maybe this will help. Right now it's not funny, and fails to meet the normal SCP criteria.
Is this a troll post? There's almost literally nothing here, and if you're being serious about this, then it's an extremely poor idea and not quality at all. It's not funny, it's way too short, it's a bit immature, and there's nothing showing any indication you care for the idea or wanting to write something and post it.
The only SCP that could get away with something like this is SCP-___-J.
This is the equivalent of a one-shot gag. Using the same analogy, a -J is a comedy routine.
In fact, this is basically what every -J boils down to (out of universe and, depending on your headcanon, in-universe.) "Here's a strange, weird anomaly! Nah, just kidding!"
You are saying that you need help because this is too short, but the whole point seems to be that there is nothing there. Then, the fact that there is nothing there makes people read it as a troll post. They then ask you to add more. This creates a perpetual motion machine which only produces negative energy, which then cools and condenses into downvotes. Eventually the downvote count becomes so great that the article collapses in on itself, becoming a black hole and ending its miserable existence.
It's a goat. Or a sheep. And, unfortantly, it's a case of being bad, but not bad enough to wrap around to being good.
If you're trying to pull the "thing that's anomalous but really isn't" joke, its been done over and over in the -J section. It ranges from that creepy thing with lots of kegs and is on the back of your head right now to the Fondation overreacting on four distinctly nonanomalus items, one of which was a kid in a halloween costume.
Writing a -J is one of the harder SCPs to write, generally speaking. It has to be funny and meet site standards.
Honestly i didn't find it funny at all. The only way i could see this working is if you dropped the whole alien, universe destroying thing and just had the Foundation realize Goats (or sheep, not sure which) were anomalous, trying everything they could to contain them and just going "fuck this" and letting them out.Which in my mind would work better with rabbits (short reproduction cycle/hard to contain) or ants.
