I'm working on a non-profit novel based on the foundation. I combined the lore with my own work. I was wondering if anyone wanted to help me.
What do you mean, help? I've wanted to do a longer story than the traditional stuff based on the Foundation, but you're going to need to be a little more specific. How long is is going to be? What kind of style is it written in? What is it actually going to be about? What work are you referring to? Do you have any kind of progress on it at all yet, or are you just starting? How many people do you want to work on this? You need to give some details before anyone would be willing to commit their time to a project.
I think it's just going to be around 150 pages, with 50 already written. Its told from a 3rd person perspective from an outside narrator, and focuses on several main characters. Its about a containment breach started by SCP-079, who took control of the facility. My main concern is the copyright on the articles and foundation lore.

Under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 license you are free to use anything you find on this wiki in any way you choose, ad verbatim if needed, unless it's explicitly covered by another license (e.g. the image for SCP-173). It's considered polite to ask or at the very least inform the authors of articles you'll be using, but you're not required to. You can charge money for your work if you want to, just remember that you are obligated to release your work under the same license and that anyone can take what you've written and release it wholesale (as long as it's covered by the same license.)
Understood, I'm only using the behavior and physical apperance of the SCP's. The plot, characters, and settings (with the exception of specific containment sites) are my own. I don't know if I'm going to publish it or not. I may post a couple chapters here to see how it goes.

This project sounds fine to me, but this sentence gets me a little worried, so I do want to make it clear….you WILL need to release this book under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 license, along with providing credit on some page in it to the authors of the original material(with links to the articles you referenced). You will be required to put text on some page saying that it is being released under this license, with the URL for the license in question so people can look it up themselves to understand what that means.
IF you do this, and ONLY if you do this, will you be able to publish this novel legally.
As noted, you will be able to publish it commercially if you wish at that point and that's fine. When mentioning this we always give people the warning that anyone, if they wished to, could take the entirety of your work once published and sell it themselves without consequence, provided they gave proper attribution and licensing details as well(aka referring to you as the original author of the work in question).
However, I feel it worth noting that that's not as big a concern as it might sound, as it's pretty unlikely for anybody to do that to you…plus why would their version do any better than yours? Go ahead with publishing it without fear, and hope for the best, because this scenario probably wouldn't happen anyway.
So yes. I wish you luck in this venture, I just felt this point needed some expounding and reinforcement.
What scips, characters, sites, etc., are you going to be using in your novel?
Its mostly about Neville Eldrich, a scietist who made a deal with the foundation, but he forgot what it was. SCP's include 173 (of course), 87, 1227, 1382, and more. I researched every article to make sure that their behavior is accurate. Along with Neville, I added several more original characters, including Calvin Mitchell, a security agent, and 13 Oc's that are directors of the foundation.
Hmm. Have you spoken with any of the SCP authors about how to portray the behaviors?
I'd strongly recommend doing this, TheGameBoyPlayer. Authors don't necessarily put everything into an article, and while it isn't legally necessary to consult an author before using their CC material for a project like this, it's really quite rude not to do it.

Now you're just stealing the plot of the game, which means I am not only immediately bored by the core concept but severely questioning the quality of the outcome.
If you're going to put the effort into making this, and making the effort into talking to us about it, you should probably actually show us the material instead of being vague about it. Feedback is a good way to avoid a train wreck, and thus far everything in this thread has been screaming "train wreck!" at me.
Besides the containment breach, a strange force is warping the SCP's and the facility itself. The personnel of the staff have to continuously work to maintain order. The novel takes place through various on site and off-site facilities as the main character uses SCP-342 to travel through various dimensions.
This is starting to sound "too busy". And it's unclear if you just decided to throw in the "mysterious force" and use of 342 five minutes before you posted that last comment because Djoric pointed out a key plot similarity to Containment Breach.
I would strongly recommend that you give us the whole of the plan first, rather than us having to tease it out bit by bit. It will show that ypu've thought the majority of it through beforehand, and allow us to better help you.
-Edit- In fact, how the hell does someone use SCP-342 to travel between multiple dimensions? It's heavily implied in the article that the trip is one-way, likely fatal, and that the SCP is not with the user after the event.
SCP-342's page said "the user no longer exists in this reality" leaving it open to interpretation. I've been working on the project, and the "mysterious force" has been there since the beginning. Its not all containment breach, and I don't want to spoil too much. I will post the first couple chapters here, however.
