This line in particular struck a chord with me, though:
Imagine that you have no body except for the words you say.
I had an idea a while back for a sapient spam bot, who perceived the Internet (its world) solely through text. The words it wrote were its body, which meant it experienced excruciating pain whenever one of its spammy emails or YouTube comments was deleted (because it was like having a limb amputated, from its perspective).
I ultimately decided not pursue it primarily because I'm not 100% sure how spambots actually work, haha. But maybe you could expand on that idea some more? What's it like to go from a human being to something whose entire world is text?
