Feel free to ask about the Foundation sites that aren't on the main site page.
And what would people ask? I'm confused about your goal for this thread.
If it would be a good idea to put their entry as being contained in one site, or the other. It's to help people elaborate their entries, to make them more logical.
This seems entirely unnecessary.
Many new authors struggle with making their containment procedures shape up to standards. I'm just trying to help.
If someone wanted to ask about a certain site, couldn't they just PM the author or ask on the discussion page of the SCP/tale that uses it?
LilyFlower is cute and amazing <3
And how is adding a certain Site number going to shape up those containment procedures? They aren't mandatory, and there is no definitive answer to any questions regarding Site designations. They aren't canon and in most cases arbitrarily chosen.
Honestly, I appreciate the drive to help out others, but this is completely futile.
What Kalinin said. And also, the sites are not standardized. You can create your own if you want, to use on your own article. You are not restrained to the sites described on the Security Facilities Hub.
Use a random number. What I use is "Containment Site █", where █=The SCP number. Example: Containment Site 2173 for SCP-2173.
Or, at least, that works for immobile SCPs. For mobile ones, just come up with a number. It's like Mobile Task Forces: Just use one you like, or make one up. Specific questions don't seem necessary to me.
Given that it's been well-confirmed that this thread isn't really necessary, I'm locking it.
Readers, if you have any questions about site number designations, feel free to post in one of the following ways:
- Make a new thread in the General Advice subforum if you've got a question relating to the writing process of developing a Site
- Make a new thread in the Foundation Universe subforum if you're wondering about Sites in the Foundation Universe in general
- Post in the discussion thread of the list of Secure Facilities if you're wondering about anything on the list.
