SCP Foundation

I read pretty much every SCP there was on this site and just love it.

My favorites r the kinds that r provocative yet deadly such as 829 - The Nail Polish and 952 - The Jacks, Ridiculous in a good way such as 572, and just plain fun or silly like 999 - The Tickle Monster.

I already have experience writing, but I've never written an SCP, just short stories full of crazy things and monsters. I'm hoping in time I'll make an SCP that'll become iconic like 682 or 173. Until then, tho, I'm good with checking out the new SCP's and making some good friends on here. Anybody wants 2 1-on-1 discuss some SCP's they can private message me, I don't mind. Glad 2 finally b a member. :)

Hi, welcome to the site. It's nice to have someone join who has read many SCPs. Writing an iconic SCP is a brave goal, but I would advise reading some of the series II and III articles to get a better feel for the current tone. I would also advise reading some of the writing guides and creating a sandbox, which you can link to in the forums to get critique on drafts.
Also, if you want to discuss SCPs or tales, you might want to check out the chat.

Minor note: users are asked to not use letter or number substitutions / 1337 5p34k on the forums on a regular basis.

Thanks Dreamwalker. I've read all of series II and III and apologize for the short hand in my intro. I'm used to typing that way online and didn't think twice about doing here. I'll be sure to type normally from now on.

Also, I put on the thing about private message because I can't access the chat sites. I'm in college right now and they're blocked, but I still wanted a way to talk to people about all the amazing things on here and I really don't mind people private messaging me. I just see it as an opportunity to make lots of new, awesome friends. :)
