Hi everyone. I introduced myself to a couple people in the IRC chat yesterday evening while I was waiting for my application to be approved, so now I thought I would make it official.
My name is Irenaeus, and I am an economics and philosophy student, with a lot of commerce under my belt. Next fall I will be starting what I certainly hope is the last year of a very long seven year undergraduate degree.
I found the SCP Foundation via the Containment Breach game. Specifically when there was a Two Best Friends video on that a couple years ago. I have been reading the archives on and off since then. I have also had a bit of an interest in writing fiction for a long time now, but just have not found the motivation to do it yet. I came up with what I think might be a decent idea for an SCP entry (and I do not even think it has been done before), so hopefully in the next one to two weeks I will be able to post a more or less fully fleshed out entry for some critiques.
I have a few hobbies. I have been just starting to get into shooting recently. I am a big fan of collecting knives, and have a few folding knives I am quite proud of. I am a big Catholic theology nerd, so if anyone else is into that, that would be neat. I am also a sucker for anime, especially romance and drama.
Anyway, this thread is probably already too long. Hello everyone, and I hope I can get to know everyone.
