Got here through TV Tropes last night, where I read several articles through the night and whereupon had to sleep with a light on, for Yubi's heart is a heart made of purest marshmallow fluff encased in chocolate and further encased in tar.
To be honest, my primary reason for signing up is so the site didn't get flooded with a hundred anonymous spelling corrections. Instead, you get to attach the unchecked frothing rage at apostrophes to a name. (On that note, is there some oddity in the article editor that makes random line breaks happen in the middle of paragraphs?) (Also on that note, decent is a word that means "pretty good." Descent is the one that has to do with ancestry. Thank you.)
I think I have a couple of SCP ideas, though. I doubt I'll write them up yet since I don't have the hang of the style yet, but I'll jot them down and post them in this thread later.
Oh, a question: Should I shy away from using mythical creatures? There's obviously a good number of them in the series already, but I don't know. One of my ideas involves Coatlicue, Aztec goddess, although I think I just want to focus on snakes pouring out of wounds rather than blood. Maybe that could be turned into a disease or a person with it as a condition contained. Protected to the extent s/he has no danger of even nicking their skin, in case serpents come out, maybe. Something to chew on.
