I do not really understand what you are trying to do. There doesn't really seem to be any significant addition to the existing story, rendering the idea of new procedures for an alternate reality moot.
Choosing a popular Series 1 SCP also comes off as trying to boost your idea on the other's popularity to some readers. Though not necessarily wrong, it leaves a bad taste to me.

If you were to create a series of alt world SCPs, I would recommend starting with some more obscure ones to avoid said stigma and making them stand out enough that they don't feel like a copy/paste job with a new descriptor added. They need to be able to tell a complete story and be interesting on their own. It would also be polite (if not required) to seek consent from the original author.
