I'm not sure how workable this is. The idea is a (abandoned) metro/underground station which when in activity, causes a number of random spaciotemporal anomalies to affect trains running through it (here, station "B" is anomalous and between "A" and "C"):
*Trains may go through the station several times between A and C
*Trains may run through the station apparently on the wrong set of track, either in the wrong direction, or outright appearing to come from C instead of A, even though it then reaches C normally
*Trains may fail to run through the station entirely, and the station is then not visible from the train either
*Running times between the station and the ones on either side may be variously distorted
*The wagons order within the train may be different when the train pulls in at the station.
*Trains may appears to enter in reverse
