Ok, so I had an idea for a memetic format screw thing. It's under the tab "Polaroid thing"

I intend to make and upload a picture that fits the description, but without the blurred face, so the memetic properties can happen.

I know that this idea is very similar to SCP-1875, with the text scrambling and format, but I think that it is different enough. I don't have a containment procedures yet, because I just wanted to bounce the general idea off of the forum.
Edit: Where it says "something", I just haven't figured out what to write yet. Maybe something like "For (name) only", implying that only one person can see it, or maybe "For club members only" implying some GOI.

I'm not exactly sure if the lack of "Object Class", "Item no.", "Special Containment Procedures" was intentional, but it was very distracting and took me out of the experience, disallowing me from fully engaging in your piece. Thus, I couldn't really gauge any kind of emotional response whilst reading.

Speaking of which, what the hell am I supposed to feel? Fear? Loathing? Las Vegas? It's not exactly made clear from the way you've structured and executed this concept, as you could make the assumption that the whole glitchy text thing would elicit a fear reaction, but as you've stated above, it's been done before, hence the lack of response. The note at the end additionally leans more into lolfoundation territory, nullifying any kind of reaction I was suppose to be feeling.

I don't really see the point of the whole "you obtain a sense of nostalgia whilst looking over the photograph" thing, as it reminds me a lot of SCP-091, and the anomalous property could easily be taken out, and it wouldn't affect the plot or article as a whole. What is the plot anyway? What's the backstory to this character? Why doesn't he want people viewing his photograph? What's the point of even including the glitchy text aspect of this?

Im normally not a huge fan of format screws, but i think it works really well in this instance, and would do even better with the picture.

That being said: This idea feels a bit one-note. There's not much going on here besides the text getting scrambled. I'd suggest maybe exploring this "club" a little further, if you can do it without taking the subtlety away. I just feel like I've seen dozens of variations of "thing doesn't want you to look at it" or "thing messes with the text to communicate" before, and I'm not sure if this one really has the punch it needs to stand out.

Overall I'm a fan, I think you just need to develop something more of a story with it.
