Before I got to writing this, I just wanted to pitch it out there and see if the idea was, A) boring and derivative, B) had already been done before, or C) curious enough to bother with.
The idea is that there is this sentient collection of data that manifests itself as SCP articles. Before it was contained, it would float around the Foundation's database, pretending it was legitimate articles and whatnots. Some researcher or whatever found out about it and contained it in its own data server. Now it manifests itself as the database entry for itself and changes it up as it pleases.
I'd write it up with a history log of all the other entries of itself throughout the years, changing as the entity sees fit.
What do you guys think? Don't bother with it? Has it already been done? Think about it over dinner? Stop writing ideas for SCPs altogether?
Thanks for your time!
