I am back after half a year of absence! I've been learning how to make better SCP drafts and want to share my latest. It is in its early stage, but feel free to share your opinions and suggestions.
The affected person would hear and smell whatever the flickers manifest.
Huh? Since flickers are normally a bunch of lights, how does one hear or smell them? If the lights manifest as something, that should be stated beforehand.
If any form of construction equipment is inside of SCP-XXXX, they will cease function and sometimes rust and decay at a fast rate depending on the size. Therefore, any means to destroy or repair SCP-XXXX are not to be considered.
That is quite an erroneous line-of-thought. What about bombs?
Anyway, your current draft is rather barebones. You have detailed the object with a weird trait, which is not elaborated upon. You would need to go into details about the anomaly, and enhance its interest value to make readers think that this is worthy as an SCP.
And there would also need be an internal logic in all this. What kind of things will one hear or smell inside? Why can't it be demolished by construction equipment? Why the flickers? As it is, the pieces do not add up cohesively and feel tacked on.
