This idea is is still in its early stages.

Main issue for me here was everything seems really frickin' random.
- Why the decomposition?
- How did the Foundation figure out the radius when everyone who wasn't in an enviro suit would've been decomposed?
- How did the Foundation figure out that lead would apparently work for everything?
- Why the weeping blood?
- I think you mean degrees C and not "c", as the latter is used to denote the speed of light in vacuum.
- Why the milk?
- Italicize the Latin name Bos taurus, and consider providing common name in parentheses like scientists do.
- Why the "Upon seeing another living creature, SCP-3000-1 will proceed to rip and tear it apart until it is separated into exactly 76 pieces of equal size to the first piece ripped."? How would anyone be able to tell this happens when it seems like every time the box is opened, everything is destroyed?
- The whole "Damage and personnel loss caused by multiple instances of SCP-3000-1 was considered too extensive to risk testing beyond stage 4" seems ridiculous. I'm surprised the Foundation left the thing open beyond stage one.
- …which brings us to containment, kind of in a roundabout way.
- Why does the weight need to be osmium?
- Why weight down the lid at all, as opposed to just keeping the thing sealed up indefinitely?
- Why does the containment place need to be exactly five meters cubed?
- Why all the lead lining the containment? Why not just build a lead casing around the object itself? That'd save a heck of a lot of materials cost.
Overall… it just seems like a dangerous object for the sake of being dangerous. Danger is a cheap thrill, especially given that we've got tons of dangerous stuff on the site already, and most of them are accompanied for some form of "why" behind their behavior. Maybe read over this guide on common pitfalls to get an idea of what elements to avoid putting in an SCP article.
Remember, there's only so much doom and destruction and death of xxxxx staff that you can put in an article before the reader starts getting bored or skeptical. SCPs don't need to be dangerous to be successful.
I highly recommend that you get all future ideas looked at in the Ideas and Brainstorming forum before you try writing a draft. It'll save you time in the long run, and it's good to get your key concept solid before you dive into writing a draft that might have all sorts of issues from the start.
Why the milk?
I based this off of hindu mythology and cows are the most sacred animal in that religion.
The basic idea is that the chest contains stages to an unknown event horizon.
You are right that stages 1-3 are confusing. I will adjust them to make sense according to each level of progression.
I will keep working on this.
Starting to feel discouraged though.
every idea i have put forward over the past year has been heavily shot down.
I thinking of quitting as i can never get my ideas past stage one approval.
(no i am not complaining about how harsh the reviewers are. I know it is necessary with so many trying. I just feel incapable)
thank you for your help.

Did you get feedback on the ideas before you started drafting? If you dive right into writing a draft without making sure readers will like your idea, then you potentially waste a lot of time and effort in the draft stage with an idea that's not ready.

It's your call. Persistence is the most important part of writing, and you're not going to get better if you just stop.
That said, writing for this site should be a hobby, so if you feel like you need to take a break you should. We have authors here who have put projects on the side for months, even years at a time until they feel like working on them.

Consider reading through some high-rated SCP articles posted in the last couple months to get a feel for what the community wants to see in the present time. Also, read through the discussion pages to see what people liked/didn't like.
The most important thing to remember here is that you're writing to entertain people. If readers aren't entertained, they'll downvote, the piece doesn't stay. Best way to prevent that is to learn what the audience likes, and adjust your writing to reflect that.
thank you. I am reading new articles with high rating as we speak whilst adjust this draft.
I have edited this draft and have hopefully addressed the aforementioned issues.
Thank you for you time and consideration.
It still suffers from ultimately being "a dangerous thing that kills you". Besides, as stated before, we've already got a couple versions of plague/danger-causing Pandora's Box-esque items on the site.
Please get this idea looked at in the ideas and brainstorming forum before you even look at the draft again. This is the third time I've mentioned this step in the process.
ok. sorry.
