I won't call it a "first" article as I'v tried to write several others but never got anything to posting status. I'm a long time reader (probably 5 or 6 years now) and just got inspired to write one at work while operating CNC machines.
I know I can be very wordy, but that's the only way I know how to be and I cut a lot of stuff that I really wanted to add but figured the average reader wouldn't appreciate. I know long SCPs are not always successful, but I hope I have balanced the content to length ratio well.
I know that there are fixes that will need to be made, but I stayed up for the past 3 hours writing it and it's now 4 am so I thought I might be at the point where I could put it up for the critique of the veterans and others.
SCP simply means SCP-XXXX, whatever the final number could end up being. (name) means I haven't given a name and/or title yet, and X anywhere means I haven't decided on a final number or don't consider it important to the article. Also, couldn't figure out how the letter type addendums are usually added but wanted to get the content out there.
Thanks for the great community here.
