Hey guys, after reading some of the newer, more successful SCPs around here, I agreed that my first SCP draft wasn't so good, even from the concept alone. However, I have thought of a new idea that I think is more unique and may work out better overall.
Basically, the SCP refers to a phenomenom that occurs in relation to a shed located in the middle of the [EXPUNGED] woods in the United States. The shed has two entrences, and the phenomen occurs when one enters the shed through one door and exits through the other (nothing will happen if one enters and exits through the same door).
The phenomenom that occurs is that subjects will be transported to a reality nearly exactly duplicate to ours, with the exception that all life is replaced by characters from X cartoon series (I haven't decided on what ficitional series would make the best candidate for this SCP). Most characters from X series will treat visitors with both curiousity and respect, and will not be hostile unless provoked first, with the exception of a few (mostly villians from the X series who will want to use them for experiment). Subjects will be allowed to stay in this alternate reality as long as they would like, and are free to return to our reality through the shed when they desire. If subjects have adventured enough in this alternate reality to create a story based on the experiences, a VHS tape will appear in the shed on the way out, which when played will play a cartoon in the same format as the cartoon based on the adventures of those who have explored the alternate reality.
The SCP will include an exploration log of a group of subjects who were familar with the series and willing to volunteer to explore the alternate reality, and their adventures of this alternate world, answering questions along the way. This includes how this reality's timeline compares to ours in terms of what characters replaced important figures in our timeline.
