I've got a list of twelve or so ideas here, and I'd like some help screening them. I'll start with the more fleshed out ones:
Blood Sacrifice Stone
A rough stone about eight feet in height, with two holes at what would be about waist height for the average person. Above these is a red eye.
Anyone that touches the stone or makes direct eye contact with the eye will have an urge to place their hands into the holes that will just get stronger. When they finally submit to the stone and insert their hands, the stone will bite/cut off the hands, and drain the victim's blood.
If the stone does not receive new blood for several days, the eye's color will begin to fade. When this happens, the stone emits a sort of "psychic pull", compelling anyone within range to come and submit themselves. The more faded the eye becomes, the greater the range of the pull.
A set of identical, male twins, around the age of ten or so. The twins appear to comprise one entity, mentally speaking. (Think hive-mind, legion, etc.)
The twins can add other individuals to their "gestalt", needing only to make contact with the target. This ability is voluntary (i.e. they can't "accidentally" absorb a new mind). Individuals may be released from the gestalt, but they will be "wiped". (Blank slate)
A paintbrush that, when touched, bestows upon the wielder a frantic urge to paint. The subject will continue to paint, with greater and greater skill, until they descend into a schizophrenic-like state. The brush cannot be put down until its effect has run its course.
I need to get offline now, but I will return tomorrow and add the rest. Feel free to rip into what I've already put up.
I'm back; here are some more:
A caucasian female of thirty years in age, displaying strong sociopathic tendencies. Subject has the ability to detach the various limbs and other body parts of a target, and place them anywhere on the target, or another person in range. She may also choose to simply drop the part(s) to the ground. Points of separation "heal" over almost instantaneously, leaving smooth patches of skin or stumps where part previously was. Subjects who have extra parts placed on them have full control of the new body part.
(Two notes here: first, I've thought of two different methods for part removal, one being just a "yank" and the other being she grasps the part and uses the side of her hand like a scalpel/knife. Which method do you think works better? Second, I was thinking of having either her or the original owner be able to control any "dropped" limbs. Do think this would be too much?)
I know that most of you are probably deathly sick of reality benders, but I thought I'd throw this one out there and see what happens. He changes reality by composing and then reciting his own poetry. I'd give an example, but I can't think of a poem right now. Oh, and if it's not clear, the poetry is the only way in which he can alter reality.
