So an idea struck me while I was reading through some scips the other day. What if before the description but after the object class was another section to fill in. Essentially it's a codeword for what the object is/what it does.
Allow me to clarify. Say we take 682 and give it the codeword Regeno/Bio/Malo, which would mean
Regenerative Biological Malevolent entity.
Another thing would be for say the portal to the parallel universe in antarctica. Its codeword could be Cryo/Quanto, which would mean it's in a cold place and it's an anomaly affecting spacetime.
I know this idea has a few flaws and a whole system would need to be made for the classifications, but I feel that if this works, it'll add a whole new dimension to the SCPs, as well as sparking more creativity. Even if there's a finite number of classifications, there's a saying: 'The Most beautiful part of a painting is the frame' which means that when you set boundaries for a creator, more ideas can be born. I know a site-wide rewrite might be needed, but it's been done before, or so I've heard.
I would like staff members to look at this and seriously consider this idea among themselves, and also writers.
