I'm not quite sure if anything like this has been done before or not, but in short, this is the idea I had:
The object is a marble Globe that, when either damaged or spun, can cause natural disasters such as tsunamis, massive earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, etc. to occur. For example, if the globe was dropped and a piece of Antarctica broke off from the globe itself, an actual piece of the continent would break off, causing a chain reaction throughout the rest of the world. If spun, small tremors would occur and tides would rise higher than they usually would, depending on how fast and how long the globe was spun for. The more damage sustained, the more real world damage would occur. Results would vary by the amount of damage inflicted on the object, but there would be a pattern to it as well and it wouldn't be completely random each time. Certain things would cause earthquakes, others would cause hurricanes, etc.
Additionally, since real world disasters are touchy subjects, I didn't plan on naming any specific incidents that have occurred for obvious reasons.
I'd love to know what others think of the idea itself or any tips people have before I make a draft for this. Thank you in advance!
