I Look Forward to do some good work in this wiki page, and doing my best at helping others when they are in need, I really would like to make SCP's, because you can basically do almost anything that comes to your head and make it a SCP, but it requires a lot of work and creativity, and I'm really happy to be here
Quick heads up, if you'd like to help other people by giving feedback, do familiarize yourself with the resources available to authors in the Guide Hub, and get a feel for what the community as a whole is expecting quality-wise. I recommend reading some of the high-rated Series II and III articles (SCPs with numbers from 1000 to 2999). There are many inspirational articles in Series I, but articles written six or more years ago are less likely to be up to current community expectations, even if they've got a lot of upvotes. Remember to pay attention to how old an article is when deciding if you'll use it as a guide or not; you can (and should!) check article age by clicking the "History" link at the bottom of a page, and looking for the page creation date. (Also, people will take your reviews a lot more seriously if you use proper capitalization and punctuation!)
If you're thinking about becoming a site writer yourself, you should first create a sandbox page to keep your in-progress works, references, or ideas in development at. When you've got a draft ready to be read, bring it to the IRC chat and/or the drafts forums for reviews so you can make the necessary edits before a mainsite post.
It can be a lot to get involved with, so do feel free to ask questions if you're unsure about any part of the writing process. Best of luck, and welcome to the site!
