Hello SCP community!
My username is Zetauri. I am from Germany and a new member to the SCP-Wiki.
A few people may recognize me from Freesound.org and YouTube where I upload stuff from time to time.
I have read and followed this site already for a couple of years now after my attention was first drawn to it by the indie horror game adaption of the popular SCP-087 ! Therefore this is my favorite SCP so far. I know this sounds like a cliché, but I think that SCP-087 is one of the major reasons why many writers and indie game developers alike have become so interested in the Foundation's SCP documents.
However, I haven't read all ~3000 SCPs yet which are published on this Wiki, so I can't give a final opinion at the moment. There may be some other great SCPs in the vast database which I haven't discovered yet. Currently I am checking the SCPs which are listed in the Top-Rated-Pages section. I like SCP-2000 too, because subterranean installations are also a favorite location of mine among other items.
I'd be glad, however, if anyone here who is experienced enough could give me some suggestions for existing SCPs which I should check out in the database and may have missed.
As far as I'm concerned, I'm looking forward to contribute some SCPs of my own to the Foundation aswell. That's why I have joined the Foundation now in the first place. My intend is to create a parallel subseries of SCPs which are going to be cross-linked with each other. This is all which I can reveal at this point. It may take some time to write and put it all together before I can fully submit it to the Wiki though.
However, today I have already written a page as a draft. It is not a SCP but a listing of so-called Underground Type Specifications (UTS) by which one is able to classify the basic layout of underground areas and name them with a proper code without the need to describe it in common words every time. I would like to share this with all other SCP writers and publish this as a "Tale", if that's permitted and within the accepted guidelines…
