SCP Foundation

Hey all, my name is DragonManipulator372. I've been a big fan of SCP since CB, which I saw through Youtube. It took me a bit to find out that there was so much more to SCP than some statue breaking necks, and soon I found this site. I've been browsing the database for about three years, but it's just last year that I got up the courage to make an account. I'm glad to be here. :)

I've written plenty on deviantArt before this, but I'll admit I'm a little intimidated. Ideally though, I'd like to contribute tales, and maybe an SCP here and there? As for voting, I've got upvotes to hand out left and right.

I suppose the only thing left to do is tell a little more about me. I'm a huge gamer, first off. SCP-1315 is a personal favorite. I like to read and go biking, and I love animals. I think that's it!

It's great to hear that you're interested in writing for the site! Make sure to create a sandbox page for yourself, and get any drafts you write up there shown to the IRC chat and/or the drafts forums for feedback prior to a mainsite post. The best way to ensure a work will be successful is to get opinions on the word before it gets to the mainsite to be voted on.

We could always use more tales! There's a considerable increase in narrative freedom for those, so you're less restrained by format. Of course, you can also combine SCP article documentation or logs into a tale, like Flower Girl and Reality Check. If/when in doubt, see if there's something on the site already that's similar to what you want to do, and check out how the community responded to the way the author handled it.
