I have been considering a skip/tale where the foundation is faced with a crucial decision, risk an XK scenario or risk revealing the foundation. This could warrant the use of the ennui protocols or SCP-2000; two things the foundation would rather not do. This could be a group of interacting skips, each one progressing the inevitability of the situation. It could also be Thaumiel or some other rare class which would be interesting but hard to write. All feedback and ideas are very welcome (as i have no idea where to take this)
Apocalypse scenarios are always neat, but if you're going to write one, instead of using pre-existing plot devices like the ennui protocol or SCP-2000, you invent some new stuff? That's the cool thing about not having a canon: constant world-building. Also, rare/alternative classes and other format screws can be awesome, but people tend to be more critical of pieces using them: they're held to a higher standard, sort of, from what I've seen. Might work, but tread carefully.
