Well, it's up!
C'mon, I thought you would've figured this out by now! It's a knick-knack, Patty Whack, give the dog a loan. His old man's a Rolling Stone. - Site Director John Keller
In all seriousness, though, this is quite clever and that was the only error I noticed.
I am not a fan of simply repurposing an existing joke, adding Foundation trappings and posting to the -J list. I know we have the "Japutcha" -J, but I feel the same way about that.
If this was all it took to make a -J, we could have dozens overnight. By the same token, we could have Slenderman written in clinical tone and added to the mainlist.
I think that both our scares and our laughs should be original works, no?
NGL, as soon as I saw the doctor's last name, I knew where this was headed, but I also didn't care as long as it was put together well. I wonder if instead of "loan" you used "boon" instead. I'm not sure which I like better, but loan is probably the way to go here ultimately.
I say post it!
I love it. Dude, I have never laughed out loud at a joke SCP until now. I am going to sound like a complete ignoramus for that statement, but oh well.
By the same token, we could have Slenderman written in clinical tone and added to the mainlist.
And by the way, psul, what then is SCP-582? I have always been told it was Slenderman. If so, whoever got away with that one, is a genius.
