I'm going to be perfectly honest, I glanced down the page, saw "Patricia Whack", and upvoted.

I am so, so sorry. Thanks to MrAnakinSpecter, xeno, Magnus, Apoplexic, ARD, eris, weryllium, Shio and the Tellmen for looking at this in chat. Apologies to anyone else I'm forgetting.

The premise is honestly squandered on a dumb, very old pun. A talking dog I can take or leave. A talking dog that always asks for a loan is kinda South Park-y but interesting. A talking dog that always asks for a loan and will vomit up knick-knacks as collateral and its dad is Mick Jagger is absolutely delightful.
I would be very interested in seeing something like this played straight and maybe expanded upon a bit. But its present form is just disappointing.
That's a very fair criticism. Thank you for reading. I knew this wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea. I personally love the "weird, nonsensical setup that culminates in a dumb pun" style of humor, but I know not everyone does. I may expand on a similar idea in the future, however, so keep an eye out!
Okay, this is the last pun -J I'm upvoting
Whether you like it or not, history is on our side. We will bury you!
I've written a tale upvoted by Djoric, Bright, Echo, Yoric, Moose, VAE and Voct, fite me irl if you don't respect
As I said on the forums, I don't mind pun-based -J articles, but I do object to recycling existing jokes with a mere Foundation palette-swap. I would urge more originality in the writing for this site - no less important for -Js than for mainlisters.
