Class: Euclid
Originally found under a theater that was deemed to have a 'haunted' basement. Units found a thin bipedal robot constructed of stage lights, pulleys, electric fans, a vacuum and various costumes and props. Most notably it had a security camera (which was reported missing) for a head. Completely deaf its only means of communication were visual. It was proven to be intelligent and docile and was contained willingly.
A humanoid robot that tries to mimic the appearance and behaviors while upgrading its appearance using parts it finds. It assimilates electronics and other machinery into its being to upgrade its appearance and functionality. Its ability to communicate comes from assimilated equipment such as speakers, cameras and microphones. This SCP can assimilate many types of hardware and obtain their functions, such as printers or phones, though will often avoid this as it does not improve its desired functions or aesthetic. Personnel can convince it into assimilating unneeded items with the promise of rewards such as upgrades or temporary privileges (joining personnel in common human behavior like going to the cafeteria for 'lunch' to pretend to eat from an empty bowl). SCP will strip away any useful components from 'useless' objects before expelling them from their body, usually ending up extremely broken and mangled.
This SCP's consciousness seems to inhabit all components that it is currently constructed of. Removal of any part will result in loss of memory and data, the larger the part that is removed the more data is lost. It is theorized that the source of this SPC's consciousness can be transferred between its components. In instances of self-preservation, this SPC will detach a small part of its body, usually a hand, to escape while leaving the rest of its now non-functional body behind as a distraction. The remainders of this SCP will then search for parts to rebuild itself. This causes extreme memory loss and is to be avoided.
When this SPC is partly or completely dissembled it will search for anything to rebuild itself, this as been nicknamed the 'recreation' state. it will assimilate scraps and garbage to create a somewhat functional temporary body and has been know to use hardware such as printers or phones (as mentioned above) as a way to communicate. Temporary components will be shed as better parts are found and assimilated until it has reconstructed itself back to a humanoid form.
This SCP shows the intelligence of an average adult human although also shows signs of OCD and autistic behavior. When it sees an object it wants to assimilate it will become obsessed with it and will be become stubborn and unfocused until it is give the object or a suitable substitute. However if this is not an option, this SPC is to be temporarily disassembled. Disassembly causes up to 80 hours of memory loss and will cause it to forget about the object. Because of this, it is to be kept away from all electronic and mechanical SPCs and important equipment.
Many other SCPs don't view it as human nor is it affected by many anomalies that target humans and other living creatures. Thus has been trained how to properly record audio reports and sent study anomalies that are dangerous to humans up close.
