So, I am in the middle of another project right now (see http://www.scp-wiki.net/forum/t-1977289/ice-portal), but I had this brilliant idea that I didn't want to forget. So while my first SCP is in-progress, I'll bounce this one off the community and see what happens.
This will be extremely hard to explain. Please bear with me.
Imagine a room built from negative dimensions. A wall might be -10 meters long. This is physically impossible. Zero meters is nothing. Nonexistence. Less than nothing is, well, difficult to comprehend. At least for me. So, the room itself would take up negative space. Therefore, from the outside of the building, the anomalous room would not exist. From the inside of the building, viewing the anomalous room through the doorway, it would appear as if a normal room lay on the other side. As soon as one enters the anomalous room, however, they would be walking in a negative direction. Therefore, if you think about it, the anomalous room would actually lie inside of the building. As if the second you step across the threshold of the door, you are instantaneously "flipped" around and walking back the way you came. Although to you, it would feel like you had been walking forward the entire time, and it would appear as such to a viewer from the outside.
Okay, that was a horrible explanation. It is easier to draw a picture.
Has anything similar to this been done? How on earth could I possibly describe this in an article? Is this material good enough for an article? How could it been improved/changed? Any other advice? I appreciate all ideas, criticism, and help.
