UPDATE: There were two interviews that I didn't originally have on the page, but I've added them in a collapsible block of text for easier access at the bottom of the page!
Hey guys! I joined a few days ago, and after tossing around three initial ideas, I've stuck to one-
but I'm really unsure about some aspects!
After carefully reading the "How to Write an SCP" guide, I made a draft of what I had in mind; however, while I'm mildly confident in this initial concept, I'm tossing a second idea around.
For some context, before I post the link to the sandbox, the SCP is multiple praying mantis-eqsue humanoid creatures that have a strong distaste for the human race, and each of this SCP has a unique way of trying to blend in with society; tracking down a vulnerable human, and "possessing them" (hollowing them out, eating their guts, and wearing their skin in an attempt to "take the human race out from the inside out", so to speak (they're… not the most intelligent SCP out there).
You can read the full sandbox draft here:
However, a second idea I had for this has been biting at the back of my mind, and I could use some advice;
I was thinking, instead of this SCP being multiple of the same "species", it would be a singular SCP who has a strong distaste for humanity; however, while the SCP has bad intent for humans, it's not very intelligent- hence the whole "trying" to appear human, but looking quite horrifyingly like a children's mascot of human flesh instead. So much for camouflage!
Anyways, I won't ramble for much longer, there's just a few critiques I ask of:
1. Should I stick with the "multiple of SCP" idea, or make it a singular SCP?
2. Should this SCP maintain its Keter class, or should it be Euclid instead?
3. Am I measuring things wrong? I'm not an expert at the metric system past what 6th grade taught me (so, I learned about the metric system about 3 years ago, essentially)— am I formatting these measurements wrong?
4. Are there any glaring plotholes I just haven't noticed yet?
(Note: I plan to add an image in the future; I'd just like to have the literature aspect as nice as possible before any pictures are added- thanks for understanding!)
Once again, this help is much appreciated!
