So this is my first time posting on this site- please do tell me if I'm doing something wrong.
Subject is a young male who appears to be in his 20s, and was discovered in a previously undiscovered ruin, near the Harappa site of the Indus Valley civilization, buried deep underground. Despite clearly having been entombed in the site for thousands of years, the subject shows no signs of aging and speaks modern languages fluently, with no discernible accent.
Subject appears friendly and completely non-violent. When questioned, he claimed to have been a priest in the ancient Harappan civilization, freely giving his name and information about his life. He claims that he was put in the room and completely sealed off by the other priests after learning of what he calls "The Truth". He refuses to speak of the demise of the civilization, nor how he encountered this "Truth", but agreed to share it with the agent questioning him, as long as he was able to do so out of earshot of anyone else. Subject proceeding to speak quietly in the agents ear for about 3 minutes, whereupon the agent drew his firearm and killed himself.
The SCP did not appear to expect this, reacting with shock and sorrow. Further experimentation has shown that while everyone who hears the Truth dies shortly after, no two people have the same reaction. In some, it provokes an incredible homicidal rage; in others, a sense of bliss so strong that they stop breathing and quickly asphyxiate. In two cases, the SCP showed extreme disinclination to reveal the Truth to the subject. In the first case, after being convinced, the SCP revealed the Truth to the subject, and proceeded to have a heated argument with the person. As the argument proceeded, the staff of the facility began to experience intense visual and auditory hallucinations. After 10 minutes, the SCP reached out and snapped the subject's neck. Three researchers and two agents were driven insane by the incident, and most of the rest of the staff had to be given Class A Amnestics. As the effects of the Truth became more and more clear, the SCP has become increasingly reluctant to share it with any others.
Whoa, ok, I wrote way more than I intended… and yet, somehow, not enough to get across my full idea of what this is supposed to be. Any advice would be greatly appreciated- especially if this has already been done!
