So this is an ok starting point, but fails to go anywhere with the concepts. One of the first issues is Harold's anomalous effect - you don't really do anything to demonstrate how he's different from standard contortionists. It would be good to have an example or two that exemplify that his contortion is in some way impossible. Maybe look into contortionist acts and bring them to their extremes if you can't think of anything yourself.
The main problem, though, is the lack of development of character. Harold's backstory is basic and done without twist or flair, while Franz's is basically non-existent. Neither of them have any notable character that comes across in the single interview log.
Finally, this is a Herman Fuller skip that has the classic issue of not telling us anything new about the Circus. Harold's time there is unexplored and his introduction to them is as generic as it gets.
The most basic stepping stone here is expansion - this skip needs more than what it has, and needs to reveal things about the characters which are currently hidden. The basic currency here for character is interview logs, so default to those if you can't find a creative way to get across their characters. Following the Little Misters formula - laying out the basic properties of the skip, then proceeding to the meat of the article in a longish interview log or a couple medium-sized ones to explore how that effect affects their life - might not be a bad idea here.
Spelling grammar, etc to come. I'll edit this in a few hours with them.
