So, last evening, I became the proud father of a 7 pound, 4 ounce baby girl, named Anna Lenore!
That brings me up to a six year old girl, a one and a half year old boy, and now another teeny weensy girl. I really don't think I fully appreciate what I've gotten myself in to…
We're doing well, Kramer had a VERY hard labor…something about hearing the woman you love scream in blinding pain as her hips audibly crack makes you question the whole baby thing. Still, she's a wonderful little girl, and very very cute, so it's worth it.
She's about three weeks early, but she has had no issues, and is passing all the tests and evaluations easily. She's very serious, and already seems to know her mom and dad, so we're very excited. Pictures to come as soon as I get the chance…
In other news, i'm still unemployed, which sucks. Unemployment is alright, but not enough by any stretch. Still, we're making due, and just bearing with the fact that I'm jobless in Michigan, and a new job will be some time in the making. We're…well, we're in a very bad spot, but very happy. A bit like singing a cheery song with a noose on your neck, but it's working for us so far.
Thanks to everyone, really. This place, while odd, helps keep me somewhat anchored and steady. Knowing that there's a place I can go where I am occasionally met with the screams of fangirls/fanboys takes the sting out of almost any bad news.
