This is Cody, a pure bred chihuahua we picked up 5 years ago. Hes got hip problems and loves to sleep on my bed. He is also the loudest snorer.
This is Zoe, a Pug-Beagle mix, and the chubbiest and sweetest dog around. The only time she exercises is when she gets up to eat, and even then she doesn't move that often. Known for destroying every dog toy given to her.
This is Abby, another pure-bred chihuahua and the most vicious and high maintenance dog that I have. She has grown a bond with me, and will most of the time follow me and demand pets. Her teeth are kinda messed up, and eats soft food. Her nickname is "Scabby Abby" from a skin condition she got a few years ago that made her get lots of scabs.

Oh my goodness, all of those are precious. Also, what a wholesome thread this is gonna be
Oh lawdy, SCP-2559-J breached containment!
But for reals, these cats are super cute. I love em already.

I got a fish last month.
He's good at jumping to snatch food off toothpicks, making sarcastic expressions, and looking adorable when yawning. He's gotten used to my voice enough that he'll swim over when I call. Sometimes if I haven't seen him and he's hiding in the hollow rock decoration thing I'll put my face near the tank and he'll stick his head out of the rock thing and look at me, flare, and patrol his tank for about two minutes.
He also likes to drape himself over the amazon sword plant and survey his kingdom.
…so I got another fish.
He's a lot more mellow than Kylo. Huxfish yawned at me four times during the day after I brought him home from the pet store.
General Huxfish and Kylo Renfish make a great betta duo. :3
I like it when fish hide, it's cute.

I'd always wanted two bettas. I made sure to buy extra substrate last time. Now I has two bettas! And no more extra substrate.
Huxfish was actually kind of an impulse buy. I was at a local pet store picking up some new food for Kylo while my Dad was at the optometrist getting a pupil dilation check (not supposed to drive after that, so I was the driver).
There was a sale on mini aquarium kits and I grabbed a 2.5 gallon with light and filter (swapped out the filter and never used the light lolol) and he picked me more than Kylo did (since I picked Kylo by looking for the meanest fish in the store hahaha). Huxfish was a little below my eye level in the shelf display but when I crouched down a little to look at that shelf he started showing off and doing a little betta dance while his other companions just sat in their containers looking kind of half-dead.
And so I thought, hmm, let's see how much a new tank setup would be, and I decided to come back for Huxfish if I found a decent setup since running a fish-in in-process tank cycle can be hard on the fish. After I found a tank and picked out some decor and a plant, I saw some ladies talking to a petstore employees. They were holding a betta in a cup and asking what the difference between the kinds of fish were (they're all the same fish!!! just different tails make them look a little different!! no different than colors!!) and holding the cup with just their fingertips (support the cup!! no drop!! no scare fishy! :<) and one of them said, "it doesn't matter, any one of these fish is fine".
I was a little unsure about how well they would take care of the betta they got but hey, if they put it in a bigger tank that's at least a step up from a tiny cup. (bettas need a heater at least! and a filter if you don't want to do frequent water changes!) So I went back to the display to look for Huxfish.
HUXFISH WAS GONE. The little shelf cubicle he was at was empty.
I was the sads. Maybe those ladies took him.
But I'd already invested myself in a new tank setup, so I figured while I was there I might as well find another betta to give a nice home to. I remembered seeing a couple rather nice ones, even if they weren't as responsive to me as Huxfish was.
Then I looked up and placed precariously on top of another fish's cup (don't do that!!) was Huxfish's cup!! Whoever had taken him from his shelf hadn't bothered to put him back in the right place. >:C
I grabbed Huxfish and asked the cashier to hold him for me as I picked up the rest of my stuff.
Huxfish is actually pretty particular about his tank setup. Originally I had his thermometer closer to the corner, but he wedged himself into the space between the thermometer and the corner and just glared at me, "this is unacceptable". So I moved it half an inch away from the corner and now he lies down on the top of the thermometer.
The picture of him hiding in the tiny plant I actually took before I moved the plant. Huxfish kept wiggling around it and nearly ripped the plant up by the roots. I took this to mean that the location of the tiny plant was also unacceptable.
:
Penny is incredibly cute but her brain am not work so good. Her only solution to things being in her way is walking backwards and she frequently trips people because she gets discombobulated trying to go anywhere. She also fancies herself a lapdog but likes to fart when people are petting her.
LuLu loves attention and will relentlessly bother you to pet her until you do, and even if you pet her for five hours she will immediately demand more from you as soon as you are done. Likes it when you throw her toys in the pool. Really likes playing fetch with a real stick.
Sammers the kitty enjoys rubbing on people's legs, messing with the dogs, eating all of our fish and napping on chairs. His least favorite activities include being held, going anywhere in his carrier, or getting stepped on.
Whether you like it or not, history is on our side. We will bury you!
Roxy is a schnoodle mix. She's got the fluff of a poodle and the mustache of a schnauzer. Here she is sporting her sweater because it's cold outside, and her confused look because she's not used to me taking pictures of her. She has two states: ON, which lasts for about five minutes while she scrambles around, and OFF, which involves her lying on her side asking for tummy rubs (which she always gets).
I have cat. Is good cat. His name is Tardis.
Would insert image and description of mah cat, but cannot figure out how to upload photo directly from my phone.
Thanks, Westrin.
ETA: Oh, well. Sorry guys. Love your pets. I am too lazy "busy" to bother fixing this up right now.

I have the greatest half-banded spiny eel anybody could ever have in the history of anything ever. Name is Sam.
Once, I put another eel in, named Newbie. Sam did NOT like Newbie, and attacked her, despite being half her size. Poor thing ended up hiding atop the filter. I took Newbie on a little trip and deposited her in my sister's tank. Last I heard, Newbie and my sister's two peacock eels are getting along super well in there.
very relevant:
I'd wanted an eel sometime back, but I don't have space for a tank that would suit the "gallon-of-water-per-inch-of-fish" rule. I think I might just stick with bettas for now, since I always see 20+ sad little fighting fishies at the local pet store in those tiny little cups ;~;
i think peacock eels have funny noses
Wait, peacock eels have noses?
Snout snoot thingies count as noses right
Then again, how would they smell if they didn't have noses?
Like fish, I presume. X3
