I played this game "Forgotten" yesterday and I thought that it might pique the interest of some people around here. Like described in the title, it's a text adventure game, but the kick is that you're supposedly popping in this game 2-3 decades after it was initially created. So the game data began to corrupt after long enough time, which forced the game residents into sentience in order to preserve some kind of order around them. Anyway it takes about 5-10 minutes to play through and it reminded me of a couple text-based program SCPs (like -687), so I hope y'all enjoy!
I usually enjoy short, unusual games like these, so thanks for the recommendation. I'll try to check it out within the next few days.
Your description of the game reminds me a lot of The House Abandon, which you should definitely check out (it's free). I won't spoil what it's about, but let's just say it's creepy in a way I hadn't realized was possible for a text adventure game.
Finally got around to this and I'm very glad I did. You're right they're somewhat similar. Thanks for the rec!
I really loved that game. For as small as it was it really felt like a good game. Really makes me love Twine.
