I found out about this site about a year and a half ago. You input your text and it tells you, well, who you write like! Here's their explanation of the algorithm. I thought it'd be fun to post here and see what sorts of different results we all get. (Keep in mind it probably works better for tales due to general writing style.)
I'll start us off: When I put in Too Cold to Live, Too Young to Die, I get Agatha Christie. When I put in Home for the Holidays, I get… Agatha Christie again! And when I put in And What Was a Soul to That Blank White World, I get Arthur Clarke! (I could go on, obvs. I used to get Chuck Tingle a lot when I used this in my old writing days, oh lordy.) And so on, and so forth. It's just a fun little thing.
