Ok, so I've played the brainstorming thread game started by Bluemorpho for a while, and I've decided to propose a contest where the participants get an object class and a selection of a few words and have to write an SCP with what they pick, but there's a very small number of words that an SCP can have as a base. What I mean by that is that a person gets selects a class, lets say euclid, and then selects two words that can be used to describe the SCP s/he makes.
A for example, SCP-173 would have Euclid, sculpture, blinking or something along those lines. I think the rules would be the standard no-malicious upvoting/downvoting-rule, but also that an author has to write an original SCP with the words s/he picks, and not a clone of an SCP in the contest or from before the contest. I think this contest could stretch on for a good while, maybe up to three months, but this is up too the community.
