This is my first attempt at an SCP and I would just like some feedback for future attempts. I can take criticism, so dish it out and tell me what needs to be changed. This page does not have the "creep" factor that a lot of people enjoy. It is more of a "work in progress" idea of mine that I hope to expand on if people enjoy the initial idea. There is a lot I can do with it, so just let me know what you think. Also, I chose SCP-248 as the number because it is in a pretty empty space.
It's a nice idea, but it just seems too 'useful'. SCPs in general should be things that you want to stay far away from, or at least things that unnerve you, rather than things you'd want to have (and I would definitely want at least one of these!). Just my opinion.
I must agree with Richard, this seems way too useful. Though, I feel it does have some potential, if worked from the right angle.
If you want help developing this, come to the chat, and the folks in there will help you out.
I've got to agree with the guys below me. Maybe if you included some objects that result in negative effects (Maybe every time a sticker is used to fix something, something of equal or greater importance breaks in a worse way?) then it might look better.
I'm new too, so I don't know if you really want to take my advice, but I really like this idea. The only changes I might make are purely grammatical, such as "Any personnel" to "All personnel", and cm should be separated by a space from the numbers which precede it. Otherwise, it sounds great to me. And as to usefulness, like you said there are things which are useful but limited, but this also seems you made it out to be not well understood, and may be discovered to have detrimental effects. Nice job.
It seems like there are a huge amount of dreadful and disastrous SCPs already. Not that I don't want to get my hands a little bloody later, but this idea has a lot of play-around room with it. Trust me, I already have a few of the tests set up, I just didn't want to give too much away just yet.
I understand that it does seem too good to work, but SCP-500 shows that some SCPs you should want around. However, I don't know how much cross-testing I would want to do with these.
Krovy, sorry about not using the pastebin. I did read all of guides, but it is a lot to take in at once. I'll definitely put it on the pastebin and redo my initial post. As for the "too useful-ness" of it, what do you think I could do to make it a little more acceptable? I already have a few ideas that will hinder it, I just didn't want a bunch of tests on the initial page.
