(This is my first ever post and also first ever SCP idea, but please tear me a new one if this idea is bad, I'm a strict believer in constructive criticism)
So, the idea came to me while I was working today, and it involves a small garden on the roof of an apartment building. At first glance it's a square of grass and flowers with a ring of trees at the center. The anomalous properties become apparent when you first step into the outer square of grass. Any plants begin to grow at an advanced rate, while any injured animals will heal faster as well. So it just gives off the appearance of being this really nature-y place.
But then, when you step into the circle of trees, you find yourself in a much larger grove that seems to go on for several miles, with hundreds of different plants growing all over the place. The only way to leave is to go out from where you entered, an impossible task if you don't keep careful track of your progress. It's essentially just an infinite forest filled with prey animals and plants of all kinds.
The main point is that the garden was the pet project of a modern Druid, which started without the whole bending space deal, and was just a small garden overflowing with nature energy that made plants grow and helped animals heal if they were injured. His goal was just some simple magical environmentalism, reducing his carbon footprint, etc, etc. But then one day, he finds out he has lung cancer, and begins throwing himself into his garden work, both mentally and physically. As his death gets closer, he makes the final decision to settle in the middle of his tree circle - previously used for his meditations - and squeezes out the last of his life and power, killing himself and transforming the little garden into its present reality-bending mega forest. His body remains at the center of the forest, and I figured I'd include an exploration log where they catch a glimpse of his body.
A secondary anomaly manifests when someone tries to hurt the forest or any of it's inhabitants. (I'm not sure if eating the fruits and vegetables counts as hurting the forest, I would appreciate the feedback on that) Whenever harm is done to anything in the forest, a large wolf manifests and hunts down the attackers, slaughtering them. The wolf was originally the Druids therapy puppy a friend got him when they found out he had cancer, and he named it Cernunnos, after the Celtic God. There's another condition for Cernunnos appearing, and that's if someone tries to get close to his master's corpse, which is what powers the anomaly. Cernunnos can be repelled with force, but can't be killed so long as he's within the forest.
I imagine that the Foundation would recover the Druids laptop which would have his journal chronicling making the garden and finding out about his cancer, and then subsequently sacrificing himself to power the garden.
So yeah that's my idea, I hope it's not terrible, and I love forward to getting some feedback :))) (Sorry it's kind of a jumbled mess, I'm a stream of conscious kind of guy)
