an SCP that is unable to exit what is defined as a part of a building that has its own walls, floor and ceiling on all sides. if forced out of such a room, SCP-XXXX becomes tetraplegic. whenever SCP-XXXX learns that a person has referred to the SCP, such as in an interview " how are you SCP-XXXX?".( both you, and SCP-XXXX activate the effect, making communication nearly impossible without infection.) this would also happen if it read documents such as letter addressed from one person to another containing reference to SCP-XXXX. when this happens, and reference is recognized, SCP-XXXX can travel instantly behind the person how referred to SCP-XXXX, at any given time. every time SCP is referenced by the person after the first time, whether in ear or sight range or not, SCP will react to their name being called. what it does at that point, I'm not entirely sure. murder? it could become a useful tool for the transferring of information, as you could just call it, using Morse code or something, and if it was compliant, it would come, receive the information, then transfer it to another affected person. or it could murder things. I'm not sure which path to go down with it.

What effect? This doesn't seem very clear here. In fact, this idea isn't very clear currently in itself, but I think I get the jist.
I would say it's not a good idea to go towards the 'killer creature' idea as one of your first thoughts. It's not that it can't be done, it's more that it has been overdone, and it has to be handled with care.
Is this the same idea as the one on your Draft board? The tetraplegic thing is referred to there, also.
Basically, I wanted to create an scp that can't go out doors, but can travel instantly between people once *something* is fulfilled. My idea was that when you refer to the scp directly, or when write something like a letter or e-mail referring to the scp, and it recognized the author, that something is fulfilled, and you become its legs basically, so it can travel. Yes, the draft was the first idea I had for this, wrote in one hour, but I don't think that it would be very good in retrospect. It would be better to have something helpful, albeit still dangerous, than just flat out murdering things for the sake of death.

This in and of itself actually sounds fairly interesting. ●●|●●●●●|●●|● has sort of used up the "talking about it makes it notice you" idea for a while, so I'd avoid that as the trigger, but there is some potential in the idea of a thing that travels between locations this way even though it can't go outside.
Thank you for pointing out that scp, do you have any ideas on what would maybe work as the *thing* that needs to happen? Maybe he could only teleport to people if they gifted him something, or vice versa? He tricks you into allowing anything, then he can teleport. Referring to scp as he for ease of writing.
