The Black Cat seems unaffected, and possibly doesn't even notice what it's doing.
This image is good, but hard to relate to if the cat is microscopic, and isn't really enough to carry the article by itself.
If this is a metaphor for the irrelevance of religious fervor and the irony of the vitriolic nature of theology in the face of an indifferent cosmos, then I would take a step back and try to figure out how to develop this idea more. Why not have the cat induce more complex religious expression, debate, and schisms (and then of course wander off in a feline way)?
