I've had an idea for a new SCP. Reports come in of people found horribly slaughtered in their rooms, the only link is all of them were viewing the same IP address before they died.
Let me know if this has been done before/ and any feedback you have:
Killer IP address (A better name is needed)
Entering this IP address leads you to an unnamed website that contains an (apparent) live webcam feed.
When you first log on to the site the webcam feed is showing nothing but static, but if you remain on the site the feed updates every 20 seconds. First it will show a rainy street somewhere urban, but with each update the feed moves to a different area, until the user will begin to recognize local landmarks. After 4 or 5 updates the feed will be showing the streets near the user's current location, as if seen from a walker's perspective, but in poor black/white resolution.
The updates will show the 'webcam' coming closer to the users location; at their front gate; in their yard; outside their window; level with their window.
At this point, if the user hasn't logged off the site, the next update will be from behind the user, looking at the screen over their shoulder. At this point they will be able to sense a terrible, malefic presence behind them.
At this point the user has three options; if they turn around, they die; if they keep looking at the screen waiting for the next update, they die. If they log off the website before the next update, the presence will suddenly depart.
Should a user ever return to the site, the updates will continue from the point they left the site. So if they logged off before the final update, they won't survive.
