The Foundation has it barely contained. However, they wanted it somewhere else and they are justifiably worried that it is going to breach before long. The measures in place are a stop-gap and a heavy price was paid to get as far as they did.
My proposal is to look at how the Foundation would handle a partial containment breach.
I want to start with a relatively boring anomaly (Euclid, about as dangerous as an angry and capable human). The Foundation contained it but for some reason that didn't stick, the SCP broke into somewhere mundane (personnel break room, janitor's closet, someone's office) and containment was re-established in that room.
Everyone is worried that another breach will occur before long but the threat is just far enough away that no one wants to risk interfering with the procedure that's in place (deal with that in addenda). Just to throw a wrench in the mix, I want to place a senior researcher or someone in the room with the SCP. Something to add a site morale concern or risk a larger scale breach if the first SCP breaches.
I've got about half a draft and two concerns.
1. Has something like this been done before?
2. Is this getting too convoluted for the SCP format?
What do y'all think?
I moved your thread summary content to the first post and trimmed it above, OP, since it was taking up a lot of space on the forum listing. Try to keep thread descriptions under 7 lines so you don't visually crowd out other people's threads. ~Zyn
