Just a nitpick, but imo this would be better if in the Greek alphabetical order (Alpha, Beta, Gamma…. Omega.)

Done. I'm going off what wikipedia says, so please be gentle with me if I got any of it wrong.
Wow is this going to take a lot of work…
EDIT: Sandbox here for anyone who's interested.
Cool.
It's probably worthwhile to separate out identically-numbered Task Forces that are clearly different.
EDIT: I found an entry on here (SCP-1943's Zeta-3) that's actually a Chaos Insurgency task force. Should that be on the list?
EDIT EDIT: Might I propose that, for cases in which no name is given to the task force, "[DATA REDACTED]" be swapped out for "[DATA MISSING]"?
h
I cleaned up the Zeta block, left the Chaos Insurgency bit in and subbed in [DATA MISSING] for unstated task force names. I'll let MaliceAforethought go through and make changes, including adding the verification dots, at their discretion.
h
Omega-Zero for one, and the link is broken too. I will fix it when I get a chance.
Oh, you misunderstood me. My point was, when the source material does not list a codename for the taskforce, put in [DATA MISSING] to distinguish it from [DATA REDACTED], which just means the computer didn't pick one up.
h
Thanks very much! You're right, [DATA MISSING] does work better, and a lot of the entries are inaccurate; I'm planning to go through at some point today and tidy up a category or two.
If I edit in descriptions are they going to get cleared every time this updates? Because that was extremely frustrating with Crayne's list.
This is very cool.
BTW, could we have an additional list for differently named/designated task forces? Examples would be stuff like Orbital Task Forces, MTF Apollo-3 from SCP-1730, MTF Stigma-9 (note that Stigma is a Greek letter), and a few other task forces I can't remember.
I write stuff. Yipee.
Yes we should, and please add it! I am currently away from my laptop and do not have the patience or dexterity to add collapsible on mobile.
EDIT: Added a new collapsible, with Apollo-3 as the only entry. As with the others, please feel free to expand it as necessary.
Just for fun, I renamed an MTF in one of my SCPs and edited it here as well to avoid overlap. Hopefully I didn't break anything…
Edit: This is really cool.
Edit edit: My last page edit added the Orbital Task Forces I could find. I can never remember to comment my changes :(
So does this now supercede the old MTF page, the one with logos and everything? Cuz this is pretty impressive, even if it's not that useful to have info on nameless MTFs that only show up in one article. Good luck maintaining this!
Not Malice, but this was designed to replace Crayne's master list of every mtf used in every article. WrongJohn's page listed in the drop down is only for the most popular mtfs, the ones that reach the 5 articles 3 author standard.
I'd look at this as a companion page to the main task force page:
The other page is the nice pretty one for featuring MTFs with some lore built up around them.
This one's the ugly database-style one for checking if anyone's done an MTF that specializes in the containment of anomalous orchids (because in-universe it would be a little weird to have more than two or three of those) or if you'd like to find an MTF number that hasn't been used somewhere else.
With Malice's permission I've added a collapsible for SCPS ships and similarly designated vehicles. Any suggestions on this (if any) are appreciated.
I write stuff. Yipee.
If you spot an MTF that's not on this list, or create a new one for your own SCP article or tale, feel free to insert it.
Citing this as my justification to include a 'collaboration' tag here, since the author of this article is opening up for others to contribute and edit.
EDIT: I am an idiot, and also very tired.
