Greetings to all. I have chosen to go my my alter-ego's name Sage Alegari, however I always write in the ego. Unless I chose to dabble in some SCP fiction. I have been reading this site for a great while and finally I have decided to join. I hope I can contribute to this already very creepy site with some of my own creations. I already have several ideas drawn from some of my own horror fiction stories. I may even post these (hopefully) pasta worthy stories after I give them a visit from the grammar fairy. It has been a long time since High School.
So far my ideas include:
The Self-packing box-a medium-size cardboard box capable of packing its own contents for shipping-no matter what that might be.
The Hand of Del'Zio- a preserved human hand in a jar that lures the artistically inclined to use it in their own creations, some of which involve very bizarre substances.
A 'Shag'gy Beast-a creature that resembles a comfy looking square of shag carpet that uses pheromones to lure prey into relaxing on it before consuming them.
I wanted to play around with an idea that I call "The Red King", but I am afraid of being to derivative since the idea is half based on the character from Through the Looking Glass. Although I may give it a try if any folks here think it may work within the confines of the site/Foundation.
I am quite surprised and delighted that there are few SCPs that dance close to the border of "Lovecraft County" with only a few entries I can place as at least references The Providence Spook. However I think one of the SCPs mentioned in a thread Can you Save this SPC? I think was the title, might benefit from a light handed treatment. I cannot for the life of me remember which one it was but I remember it was an Egyptian mural that sucked people into it and trapped them there alongside an insane entity only known as Him. I noticed the potential for aBlack Pharaoh reference but I wouldn't want to try my hand at it unless I had someone's blessing of course.
Well, that is enough ranting for now. Once again, thank you for this opportunity and I look forward to hearing from someone…anyone…um…hello?
